Thomas blends old and new methods of design often using a mixture of hand drawn renderings and complex full 3-D computer modeling on each project.

“Home is where the heart is.” This old addage rings true for this beutiful custom home. This unique warm custom home was designed to the owners needs while keeping the rustic / modern appearance . This young family challenged us to design and build a modern home with a warm rustic feel and open floor plan while showcasing expansive views of the lake. We enjoyed working closely with this family to achieve this beautiful lake home!
Designed for a young couple that wanted a Lake home with a “modern edge,” we leveraged sleek angles with a blend of metal and wood to create interest and style. The interior compliments the exterior with clean angles, a mix of stone and bamboo, and modern touches. The home sits on a gently sloping lot with ample yard and deck area for entertaining and just a quiet evening on the lake.
A remodel and expansion of an existing structure, this building was originally built in the early 1970’s. The owner wanted a simple, attractive facility that would offer a welcoming entry area, office space, and a visually enticing boat showroom. The owner’s taste leaned toward a modern-industrial build. Our project challenges included building expansion on a lot with a cantilevered structure. In addition to expanding and remodeling the office space and boat showroom, the design entailed a unique custom concrete polymer overlay with a metallic blue and gray finish for the showroom floor.
